New Ability: Turning Tax On/Off During a Transaction
Looks like we weren’t quite finished realeasing features this week. As some of you may have already noticed on your POS screen, there is a new button within the Amount Due box that reads “Turn off Tax.” You most likely can guess what it does, but for those who can’t — it turns off the tax for that single transaction! This is very useful for customers whom are tax exempt from their purchases.
An easy way to track customers who are tax exempt is by making a note in their customer profile. You can do so in the Customers section by first searching for their name, then clicking Edit next to their name. You will find customer notes at the bottom. Don’t forget to click Update Customer when finished!
